Volunteers Needed for Build Day
Anxious to help out with the LTBK program in Bishop's Falls? Wondering how you can contribute? We will need at least 200 volunteers for the build day on July 31, 2010. What an opportunity for our community! Afer all the years of talking about doing something for our kids with the help of the LET THEM BE KIDS foundation, we can finally take action. We will build a park we can be proud of and the whole community will have ownership of it. I'm looking forward to working with everyone on July 31 to make this happen.
This is such a wonderful project that has the potential for our whole community to demonstrate to our children how much we care. It can also demonstrate to all the surrounding area and country how our community can come together in unity and model what can happen when we work together. Let’s make it happen!!
I cannot wait to see those huge smiles on the faces of our children!!
Thank-you to all the organizations who have joined together as one team for the benefit of the children and this project. Imagine volleyball, soccer, a playground, walking trail, exercise equipment and much more all in one area. Something for everyone - somewhere the whole family can enjoy and spend time together.
